I hope y'all are doing well and staying crafty! Thanks so much for your patience this past week and a half as we traveled to visit relatives in our home state of Tennessee. As a handmade jewelry designer always on the prowl for additional beading suppliers, I also made this a partial business trip. As we drove from Texas, we tried to stop at whatever bead stores I could locate along the interstate- or a short distance away. We are still a bit tired (especially my husband who did most of the driving, bless his heart)!
Yesterday was my 1st day back in town, so I got online a little bit to get caught up on messages and switch my shops off from vacation mode. I am sorry that I missed posting the Saturday Showcase link at Facebook the other day, but I did a bit of driving and simply didn't get a chance to do that. It is still a brand new group with need for more outreach to our fellow crafty creators, so I think it was ok to skip one. lol.
Plans Moving Ahead
I hope to have a schedule for live streams beginning next week. Since I am in the mountain time zone of the USA and there are various streams going on that are quite popular which you all may prefer being part of, I will need to draft a calendar. If you have a particular day/ time that will work best for you as a member of this particular group, please comment on this post or send me a direct message and I'll tally up whatever feedback as I make the decision. Streams will typically be for the Wavelength Wednesdays since it's to talk about our feelings and such, but if I do a rogue stream for Marketing Mondays or interviews with you all down the road...it will be helpful to pre-plan. Maybe I'll create a poll.
I thank those of you who are in this brand new group for the handmade niche. I would sure appreciate your helping to spread the word to your fellow crafty creators and artists that may enjoy this type of group. Again, I am not doing this full time, as I will concentrate on my handmade jewelry business, however, I will hopefully make this a fun resource for those of you looking for a little bit of art marketing tips and discussion for the handmade niche.
