Hi, everyone. The hubby and I've been sickly for almost a month now with the sinus crud, so I've been rather intermittent with the posts here and on social media. I didn't want to miss another live stream though. For those that couldn't make it, I will link that here so that you can hear the conversation and better lend your input.
I've been wondering lately if there are any comments, suggestions, feedback, etc., regarding this Crafty Creators channel, due to the lack of engagement here, in the Facebook group and on the live streams each Wednesday. I am looking for anything you might have to say with regards to the daily events/ content that I'm posting on the platforms.
While I realize there are multiple groups out there, I originally thought having this group would give the artsy peeps a more relaxed place to get tips for their channels and to learn art marketing tips while also doing the networking that is happening in the other groups. I thought I saw the need for it, based on my own frustrations, but am now having doubts that it was just myself feeling that way.
Since the live stream discussion, I've heard from several people saying that they love the content and events. I've not had anything negative occur or be said, so that suggests I'm on the right track. I did have some suggestions to reach out to other crafty groups, however, I don't wish to appear that I'm "stealing" their audience...regardless of how different my content may be from anyone else's. I do like to participate in a few other crafty type streaming groups, but also do not feel that is the place to mention my group. I'm not here to force anyone into joining and I sure don't want anyone here that doesn't find what I'm posting useful or entertaining. I do wish to discover anything you think would work better for your needs in a group like this or if you have any suggestions concerning anything else.
I appreciate everyone who does enjoy Crafty Creators, especially those that I do hear from. While I'm not planning to quit this channel or group, I am re-evaluating the future content and events based on feedback I may receive. I want this to be fun for my fellow crafty creators, but if the need is simply for networking live stream marathons, that definitely won't be something I ever plan to do longterm. So at that point then, I may become without options.
Due to the holidays picking up my sales and classes that I teach via Sparkle by Monica, I will have to prioritize that channel and its platforms again. So, that means the schedule may change. Based on any additional feedback I may receive and after the holiday seasons are over, I will possibly be making some changes at that time. Until then, please continue to enjoy what you see here, at the channel and in the social media platforms. If you do know others that might like what I'm doing so far here, then feel free to share away! I'm so thankful to you all that are hanging in here while I work to build the group. Your comments & direct messages of encouragement have been truly uplifting, especially when I've been feeling puny. lol. Have a great weekend!
