Today's marketing tip answers a question I had from one of our Facebook group members- CraftyMommy85. This talks about how to leave comments and post on behalf of your business Facebook page. And a little gabbing about fall, Tennessee & pumpkins.
It's very useful for those of us with a Facebook page to be able to comment as our page and not our personal profiles. Pages are also different from Facebook groups with various permissions that are not available in one vs. the other. You can't leave a comment as a Facebook group, however, if you have a companion page (setup like a business name), then you can switch between your personal profile or the business page name.
Also, it is worth noting that Facebook will not allow anyone to have a group or page until you have established a personal profile, which is totally separate from pages and groups. For example, in order for me to be an admin on a Facebook group or setup a Facebook page for my Sparkle by Monica business, I had to first create my personal profile and build from there.
